| Significance
The mosque was built by Abu Said Othman (an Abdelouadid prince) for the honor of Abou El Hassan Ben Yekhlef Ettenessi, the famous scholar and jurist who was living under his rule in 13th century. Although it is small in size, it is richly decorated.
